WHY SHOULD AN EMERGENCY PHYSICIAN BE AWARE OF THIS?: Lumbar puncture remains a critical tool for emergency physicians in the diagnosis of central nervous system pathologies.

Keywords: acute lymphoblastic leukemia; altered mental status; central nervous system malignancy; lumbar puncture.
