Some problems in the differential diagnosis of post-traumatic coma

J Neurosurg Sci. 1974 Jul-Sep;18(3):177-80.

Abstract

3,326 cases of head injured patients admitted to the Neurosurgical Clinic of the University of Belgrade in 1969 are reviewed by the Author who examines the different diagnoses posed on admission, correlated with surgical and autoptical results. The determining importance of cerebral angiography in the diagnosis of intracranial post-traumatic lesions is thereby emphasized.
