Title Skeletal muscle RNA expression following implantation of LLC1 cells in mice

Summary 7- week old male and female, C57BL6 mice received subcutaneous injections of LLC1 lung adenocarcinoma cells or vehicle. Three weeks later, the mice were sacrificed and skeletal muscle was obtained for RNA-seq analysis.
 
Overall design Seven-week old male or female mice received subcutaneous injections of LLC1 cells or vehicle. Three weeks later skeletal muscle mass, strength, weight, mitochondrial function, fractional synthesis rate, and biochemical variables were assessed. The gastrocnemius muscle was obtained for RNA isolation.
