Small Intestinal Mucinous Adenocarcinoma

Definition

An invasive adenocarcinoma that arises from the small intestine. It is composed of malignant glandular cells which contain intracytoplasmic mucin. Often, the infiltrating glandular structures are associated with mucoid stromal formation. [from NCI]
